    - Installing 10 Teaching Mats on a green-grass range eliminates the need for an 850 sq ft concrete pad—saving over $6,000 upfront.
    - Monthly turf maintenance drops by approximately $1,020, thanks to reduced wear on natural grass.
    - Players of all levels—from beginners to low-handicap golfers—gravitate toward the Teaching Mat for its clarity, feedback, and feel.

    Enhance Your Facility’s Reputation.

Used by PGA instructors and First Tee Programs, the Teaching Mat signals quality and innovation. It turns your range into a destination for serious practice—and repeat visits.

  • Feel of Real Grass
Hitting mats should have the feel of real grass as much as possible. On most hitting mats, a chunked shot can look good because the club bounces off the mat rather than digging into it, making it look much better than off-turf. Teaching Mat is made of rubber foam with a consistent feel and realistic grass interaction under the same conditions as ground hardness, taking advantage of the feel of real grass as much as possible.

    Impact Shock Absorption
The Teaching Mat makes the height of the grass longer and the rubber foam has the same condition as the ground hardness to absorb the shock from the impact and prevent wrist or elbow injuries.

    Durability
The teaching mat has a grass turf thickness of 5/8"± and a foam thickness of 3/4"±, which satisfies shock absorption at impact and does not cause foot slipping or slipping at swing impact, providing optimal data for a stable swing. The teaching mat has a ±(5mm) thick base rubber attached to prevent the floor from slipping, increasing durability by protecting the foam and adhesion to the floor. The grass is made of nylon and treated with UV protection to increase durability for outdoor use.
  • What Is a Down Blow Shot?
    And Why It Matters?
A Down Blow Shot is a swing technique where the club strikes the ball before it touches the ground, creating a crisp, clean impact. It’s a key skill for consistent iron play and professional-level ball striking.
    Why Down Blow Matters:

    1. Higher shot accuracy
    2. Increased distance — up to 1–2 clubs longer
    3. More consistent yardage control

How to Practice the Down Blow Shot

Use the Down Blow Impact Guidance Tool as shown:
1, Place the ball directly on the ball mark of the guidance tool.
2, Set your stance slightly left (about one ball’s width) from the ball.
3, Follow the sloped guide on takeaway.
4, During the downswing, shift your weight forward and focus on striking the ball before the club touches the slope.

    Training Tips:
Your goal is to hit the ball first, then brush the clubhead along the sloped surface.
This encourages proper downward impact, helping eliminate fat and topped shots.
Be careful not to scoop with your wrists — maintain a firm lead wrist through impact.
